The Island News is a locally owned and operated newspaper that is dedicated to bringing you hyper local news and sports. It is a modified weekly newspaper with a magazine feel. We go to great lengths to cover all aspects of island life in Beaufort (north of the Broad), from local interest stories, local sports, social and student events, business items and more complicated matters affecting our local government.
